A TALENTED singer is thrilled to be back on stage.

Sophie Bond wowed people all over the world attracting more than 400,000 views for free concerts in the back garden of her Winsford home during lockdown.

The 26-year-old can't wait to perform again in front of a live audience.

"I really feed off people's energy, " said Sophie, who lives off Delamere Street. "Being in the garden with a bottle of wine is one thing but making eye contact and having a good time with people joining in is great. The Government has said that live entertainment can go ahead now which is brilliant."

Sophie turned professional when she was only 14 and has been singing since she was eight.

"It's great that I gained a bit of a following during lockdown," she said. "I never thought I'd be out of work for so long. It's good for me to get back out and have a live audience."
