A MUM was left shocked after a brick was hurled through the window of her Winsford home last night.
The missile narrowly missed her as it landed in her kitchen just before 10pm.
Residents have expressed horror and outrage at the mindless attack.
The woman, from John Street, posted details of the disturbing incident on social media, saying: "Luckily my children were in bed. The brick nearly hit me though. If anyone knows of any cameras on John Street, Dean Street or Well Street please let me know."
The police are now appealing for information.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "Officers were called at around 10pm on Tuesday 25 August following a report of criminal damage at a property on John Street.
