A NEW park run is being launched to support a local charity.
A family 3k run is being held in Winsford Town Park from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, October 26
All proceeds will go to the Neuromuscular Centre which provides a unique range of services and opportunities to people with muscular dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions.
NMC is a lifeline to many and provides provides vital physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, sheltered employment opportunities and much more.
Children can join mums and dads for a leisurely run, a gentle stroll or a bit of both.
The event is open to all ages and abilities and covers six laps of the park.
It is not a race a families can start at any time during the day.
Friends of Winsford Park and Winsford Town Council have teamed up to support the event.

Entry is £3 adults, £2 children under 16 (under 5s are free) or £8 family (2 adults and 2 children).
