IT IS all well and good getting to London from Manchester high speed, but it takes over an hour to get to Manchester from Northwich. Lostock Gralam station is very poor, no shelter if it rains and nothing to tell you if the train is cancelled.
Surely it would make more sense to improve local lines and stations first?
