WINSFORD A shared eight sets with Nantwich Farmers to halt a losing sequence in the South and Mid Cheshire League.
Mark Abbiss, Chris Knight, Alex Lerczak and Simon Nuttall were on court at Knights Grange last Thursday for a 4-4 draw, putting behind them a run of three successive defeats in Division One.
They host title-chasing Nantwich A tonight, Thursday.
Winsford B also shared the spoils, this time with hosts Cuddington B, in their latest Division Three encounter.
Chris Mayoh, Damian Cookson, Chris Mundie and Mark Barton made up a quartet that sits third in the table after five matches.
Winsford C, able to field only Bill Lawrie and Steve McCormack due to absences, lost heavily at home to Nantwich E in Division Four.
A 7½-½ defeat leaves them still searching for a first victory.
Congleton E proved too tough nut to crack for Winsford D, who were whitewashed by their hosts.
Steve Harris and Alex Toomey played alongside young brothers Ryan and Lewis Penn.
Meanwhile Winsford return to action in Mixed Division One this Sunday when Hartford B visit.
