CHESHIRE FA plans to showcase the best bits of the game in the county as part of Sir Bobby Robson National Football Day this Saturday.
The governing body will host a festival from its Northwich headquarters at Moss Farm to mark an event celebrating the Football Association’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
A range of activities have been planned, including exhibition matches across a range of ages, genders and disciplines.
There are free practice sessions for under 11s, plus coach and referee workshops for parents and volunteers.
Cheshire FA’s own Football Museum displays items charting the sport’s history in the county, while kids will be entertained by a range of fun activities in a dedicated skills area.
Entry to the festival, plus parking, is free, with further details available online at cheshirefa.com.
