A WINSFORD man claims to have seen three unidentified flying objects in the town's sky within a year.

The objects were seen above homes in Chesterfield Close in the town.

Chris Alton, 61, who is retired and lives on the close, said: "I was sat on my settee looking through my photo diary and I saw a black sphere out the window in the sky.

"It looked like a lilo that you use on the beach.

"It was quite large, about 30-40 feet long, and the front was vibrating.

"It came quite slowly but passed my roof and it was gone within three or four seconds.

"I didn't feel nervous or scared but it was a staggering experience.

"I was really hoping that someone else would see it as well but they didn't."

On the next occasion Mr Alton saw two silver spheres in the sky at about 25,000 feet high.

Mr Alton said: "The sphere on the right-hand side came down very quickly and then shot back up into the sky in a perfect V shape and then shot out of sight - the whole thing was over in about 45 seconds."

On the third occasion Mr Alton was outside his house talking to a neighbour and saw a large silver sphere object in the sky at the height of a high-flying plane.

The object travelled in a straight line and was watched by Mr Alton for 10 minutes.

Mr Alton added: "I'm the sort of guy that has to find out answers and I can't believe that no-one else saw it."

The sightings, which he made back in 2005, were at mid-afternoon and all on clear days.

I personaly know two people who have seen a disc craft, they where less than a hundred feet from this craft, so thers is no dought as to what it was, I still get a chuckle, when i hear swamp gas, venus, and all the other excuses, here it is plain and simple, there are craft in the skys that the government does not want you to know about, this coverup has been going on for more than sixty years now, its time to stop, dont ever trust a government that lies to you.......

Blimey mate, has the penny finally dropped for you? So it takes for UFOs in the sky for your to think the government has been telling your lies for all these years.

Just imagine all the other things they've been lying to you about huh? GOSH! Hope your not going to vote for this lot in power on 1st May *shock*

If he was talking to his neighbour when he saw the third one why is there nothing from the neighbout to corroborate his story. Come on WG - first duty of a reporter is to verify facts. This you haven't done.

Reminds me of last week's non-story - man leaves home at 9am, is reporting missing, but was home by 6.30pm. When that happens to most of us we have gone to work for the day!

Every day in every country on the planet, perfectly rational people are seeing things in the sky above them which have no earthbound explanation. Do the research, look UP more often when you're outside. We are most certainly not alone. theobjectreport.com

i am afraid i ahve to agree with john "why hasnt the reporter mention the neighbour surley if this chap did see this "craft" for a whole 10mins which in a situation like that is a very long time then why didnt the nieghbour see it????" I do however beleive that we are definatly not alone that is impossible we are just a mere speck in space so "Yes i beleive that we have been and still are gettin visited" and as far as the goverment is concerned well what can i say but absolutaly "NOTHING"

I've only lived here for a couple of months, but one of the first things i noticed is how busy the air space is , and i myself have had to look twice, But only ever at night.

Is it not possible Mr Alton mistook an ever familiar black cloud , combined with an over active imagination.
