A SPRING art exhibition showcasing ‘exciting works’ is being held in the Cheshire countryside.

The display of British modern and contemporary art is expected to attract people from all over the country.

The exhibition is raising funds to support people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

The week-long event will be held at The Sicily Oak Gallery on Croxton Green Lane in Cholmondeley, from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, May 10.

This is by kind permission of John and Judy Bromley Davenport, who host the fundraiser every year for worthy causes.

A spokesman for the exhibition said: “British Art Portfolio will be displaying a high quality selection of new and exciting artworks by British and contemporary artists.

“Paintings in all mediums, drawings, hand-coloured engravings, sculptures and ceramics.”

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 6pm, seven days a week.
