A SEX offender has been remanded in custody after being found guilty of abusing a teenage girl.
Peter Griffith, of Albemarle Avenue in Hartford, was put on trial last week where he faced five charges.
The offences include four charges of sexual activity with a girl under 16 and one of inciting the same girl into sexual activity.
All of the incidents took place between June 30, 2019, and September 5, 2020.
The 52-year-old had denied all charges at a hearing on March 25, 2022, but was convicted by the jury at Chester Crown Court on January 24 this year.
Recorder Eric Lamb adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and remanded Griffith in custody.
He will now return to court on March 25 for sentencing.
