The other men were wearing a red suit, blue suit and one was in smart casual clothing.

After the incident all four men left in a old style red Vauxhall Astra.

Owner of Debees Damon Horrill has been left shocked by the incident.

He said: "In the 10 years I have been here this is the first incident of any kind I have known involving a knife.

"One of the group was behaving erratically and was asked to leave.

"The group then left the area and the incident took place away from the nightclub otherwise our doorstaff would have tried to stop this from happening.

"We didn't just stand by and let this happen.

"We did take the lad inside and give him first aid while the ambulance arrived."

Damon is now working with police to catch the people responsible.

He said: "We want to help the police catch these people and they have already been down to check our CCTV.

"We have a very good name here at Debees and I have never known an incident of this type before and we never have any trouble here.

"It is very sad and knives will not be tolerated and we will do all we can to help police."
