SHAMAL Mohammed Asad, 20, of Weaver Street was found guilty of driving a Ford Escort along High Street without a licence or insurance. He was fined £315 and ordered to pay £15 costs.

Kayeal Wint, 19, of Nixon Drive, breached curfews imposed for actual bodily harm and threatening behaviour. He did not appear in court and magistrates revoked the order in the interests of justice.

Denys Raymond McAllan, 61, will appear in court on Friday charged with touching a girl under 13 in a sexual way.

Robert Anglim, 39, of Bowland Rise, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £75 costs after he used a colour television without a licence.

Mark Cox, 20, of Thrush Way, illegally fished at New Pool in Whitegate. He was fined £5 and ordered to pay £90 costs as well as £75 to the Environment Agency and £15 victim surcharge.

Gilliam Atkinson, 61, of Vauxhall Way, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £75 costs after she used a colour television without a licence.

Steven Lee Gresty, 23, of Bedford Rise was given a one-year conditional discharge for assaulting a woman during an incident on October 12. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation and £120 court costs.

Daniel John Robertson, 27, of John Street, is charged with assault and stealing a Samsung mobile phone. He will next appear on Tuesday.

Paul Lynskey, 35, of Townfields Gardens, drove a Ford Fiesta along Delamere Street without due care and attention and failed to stop after an accident. He will be sentenced on Friday.

Paul McCarten, 43, Arkwright Close, drove a Rover 416 along Weaver Street without insurance. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
