Winsford Academy to close on Monday amid 'dangerous' weather conditions
THE Winsford Academy will be closed tomorrow, Monday, as a result of this weekend's winter weather.
The academy in Grange Lane is currently scheduled to open as normal on Tuesday.
A statement on the school website, which was also sent to parents via text message, said: "Due to dangerous and adverse weather conditions, the Academy has made the decision to close on Monday 11th December 2017.
"The school will open on Tuesday 12th December 2017 unless you hear otherwise."
