INVESTIGATIONS continue into the death of a Winsford man who died in a crash in Whitley.

A 38-year-old man, from Tarporley, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision in Limes Lane at 7.30pm on April 19.

The crash involved a Volkswagen Scirocco and a Kawasaki motorbike.

But when officers arrived it was discovered that the rider of the motorbike Raf Khan, from Winsford, had died at the scene.

Mr Khan, who owned Warrington Service Centre, was a popular businessman in the area.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "The investigation remains ongoing at the current time.

"A 38-year-old man arrested at the time of the incident remains released under investigation."
