FIREFIGHTERS from Winsford and Northwich were called to two incidents in Winsford on Saturday evening - one involving a boat.
Crews were first called out at 9.30pm to an address in Bedford Rise.
Firefighters tackled a blaze in the bedroom of a property.
A mattress was removed to outside where it was 'damped down'.
Less than 45 minutes later, an engine was sent to Clive Lane following reports a boat, measuring 5m by 2m was on fire in a field.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to bring the blaze under control.
