AN 86-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital yesterday after a crash in Chester Lane, Winsford.
The crash, involving a black Mitsubishi Colt colliding with a vacant stationary red Hyundai i10, happened at 4.20pm on Tuesday.
An 86-year-old woman was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital by air ambulance and is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
Two other people who were in the car, a 56-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, were taken to Leighton Hospital with minor injuries.
Police closed the road for around more than an hour while paramedics attended to those involved.
A police spokesman said: “The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.
“We urge anyone who saw anything to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 658 of March 21.”
