TERMINAL illness charity Marie Curie is asking people of Winsford to volunteer to collect for its Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, and the charity is collecting in Winsford in April.

The collection will be held at Aldi in Dene Drive on April 7, 8 and 9.

Kaylie Chapman, community fundraiser for west Cheshire, said: “We are calling on the people of west Cheshire to help us make every daffodil count this year. All you have to do is encourage people to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin, it’s that simple. So round up your friends, family and colleagues and together we can help Marie Curie provide free confidential and practical support to more people affected by terminal illness who need it and research into better ways of caring for people living with a terminal illness.”
