FIREFIGHTERS were called to three separate fires in Winsford last night – all suspected arson attacks.
The first was at Wyvern House, The Drumber, at 6.25pm.
Three fire engines from Winsford, Northwich and Middlewich attended and crews tackled the blaze in a storage compound, external to the main building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to deal with the incident. They were at the scene for about an hour.
The second incident was in Ways Green where a commercial wheelie bin was on fire. Firefighters were called at 8.29pm Then at 11.11pm, crews were called to Saville Court where a hose reel jet was used to put out a car fire.
