THORNTONS are supplying 100 chocolate bunnies for a special event this Easter in aid of a Winsford charity.

The Neuromuscular Centre's Easter Bunny Run, supported by Thorntons, will be taking place at Blakemere Village on Saturday, March 19.

This event is a fun run or walk, starting and finishing on Blakemere's event field, which is adjacent to the Craft Centre, at 12pm. Every participant will receive a goody bag.

A spokesman for the NMC said: “Join us for a leisurely stroll, gentle jog, run or even hop in aid of the NMC in Blakemere’s beautiful woodland.

“Arrive anytime from 11am to meet our special guest Thorntons' mascot, Harry Hopalot, who will pose for photos with you.

“The lovely team from Thorntons in Cheshire Oaks will also have a stall offering Easter Egg decorating, so please feel free to bring your Easter eggs with you.

“Thorntons are very generously donating 100 Harry Hopalot chocolate bunnies. Along the route, 100 paper eggs will be hidden for you to find.

“Bring them back with you to the finish line, where they will be exchanged for chocolate Harry Hopalots.”

The event will not be time chipped and is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Fancy dress is encouraged. Dogs are welcome.
