WINSFORD’S MP has officially opened her office in the town, delivering on a promise made to voters throughout her election campaign.

The office, which is located at the Verdin Exchange, was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Chester, the mayor of Winsford and the junior mayor of Winsford on Friday, July 31.

Antoinette Sandbach, MP for Eddisbury, said she was very keen to have the office in Winsford and to be as accessible as possible for residents.

She said she considered the Verdin Exchange to be the perfect central location in case constituents need to call in for assistance.

"This is a promise delivered,” Ms Sandbach said.

"I said I'd open my office here in Winsford and I hope this encourages others to move into the Verdin Exchange, here in the heart of Winsford."

Ms Sandbach will remain in Westminster for most of the week and says she will use her Winsford base to meet constituents on a Friday, hold surgeries.

However, the Tory MP’s caseworkers will work out of the office Monday to Friday.

Ms Sandbach said her priorities for the coming months are tackling poor broadband, mobile phone coverage and infrastructure issues in the constituency, tourism and the regeneration of Winsford.
