WINSFORD Academy welcomed a number of exchange students from Singapore.
The school welcomed Gabriel Wong, Yvonne Ong, Ng Wuay Boon and Muhammad Fadly, as part of a Singaporean delegation on an exchange visit to the UK.
The visit was part of an exchange project hosted by the Fallibroome Multi-Academy Trust, the academy’s sponsors, and in partnership with the British Council.
Winsford Academy students and staff spent time with the visitors from Singapore, exchanging views on education and sharing cultural experiences.
A spokesman for the Winsford Academy said: “One of the most exciting benefits of being part of the Fallibroome Multi-Academy Trust is the access we now have to an outstanding range of national and international networking opportunities.
“Our visitors are all serving leaders in Singapore high schools, part of an education system widely considered to be one of the most successful in the world.
“In addition to visiting the Winsford Academy, our visitors have been immersed in observing teaching methods and discussing leadership and innovation with our Fallibroome colleagues.
“We wish Gabriel, Yvonne, Ng and Muhammad the very best and thank them for their enlightening company.”
