The Winsford Town Mayor’s Oscars will recognise the achievements of local people
THE Winsford Town Mayor’s Oscars 2015 are set to take place this evening.
The Oscars evening, which will take place at the Winsford Lifestyle Centre on Friday April 17, will recognise the achievements of local people.
In February, Winsford residents were asked to submit nominations in a number of categories.
An independent judging panel then drew up a shortlist of three in each category out of 12 in total.
Categories include the Weaver Vale Housing Trust Young Person of the Year, the Winsford and Middlewich Rotary Club Volunteer of the Year and the ASDA School Project of the Year.
On the evening itself, a representative of the sponsoring organisation will have the opportunity to present the award
