A KARATE Sensei fought 30 men in aid of St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice.
As featured in the Guardian last week, Sensei Ted Clare of the MKKA Martial Arts Association attempted to complete a full contact 30-Man Kumite challenge.
On Sunday, March 1, Sensei Ted completed the challenge.
Speaking on Facebook, a spokesman for MKKA Martial Arts Asociation, said: “I'd like to take the opportunity to thank those who have support Sensei Ted with today’s 30-Man Challenge, despite his injuries and fatigue.
“He soldiered on, fought through 30 other Martial Artists to raise money for St Luke's Hospice. I couldn't tell you the exact amount right now, but I can inform you all we exceed our original goal.
“But everyone should get a thank you, from everyone who donated, who turned up to the fighters. You all helped in your own way to help raise this money for a good cause.
“Sensei Ted will return, but first he needs to heal up.”
