WHARTON Primary School has closed for the day due to heavy snow.
Snow and wintry weather are causing problems on roads and across the region this morning.
Heavy snow began to fall in Winsford around 10.00am, and has forced Wharton Primary School to close for the day.
A spokesperson for Wharton Primary School said: “The school is closed for today but we should be open as normal on Friday unless the weather is as adverse as it has been this morning.”
