SANTA is taking time out from his Christmas preparations to do some sleigh riding in Winsford.

Weather permitting, members of the Rotary Club of Winsford and Middlewich will be out with Santa and his sleigh starting from December 4.

The club intend to come out every weeknight until December 18, covering as much of Winsford as possible.

“Please do make an effort to see us and the Sleigh whilst we are out and about,” a spokesman for the Rotary club of Winsford and Middlewich said.

“Last year, kind donations by all of you who came out to support us have allowed us to support a range of local charities and organisations, including the St John’s ambulance, Middlewich Scouts, The town Mayors Oscars of both Winsford and Middlewich, Oakland’s and Hebdon Green Schools, Winsford Samaritans, the Winsford Diamonds and the Winsford Salvation Army.”

For those who can’t make it out on an evening, Santa and his sleigh will be in Winsford town centre during the day on December 18.

Keen not to out-sleigh their welcome, the Rotary Club of Winsford and Middlewich will make one final festive appearance outside Morrison’s supermarket on December 19.
