POLICE in Winsford continued their operation against drugs supply in the town.

On October 3, a drugs warrant was executed at an address at Chesterfield Close.

Two men inside were found in possession of M–Cat, a Class B controlled drug. Further enquires are being conducted.

On October 6, a drugs warrant was executed at an address at Leyland Walk.

During the search of the property, a quantity of Cannabis and drug related items were found.

A 24-year-old man at the address was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, cannabis.

Following interview the man was charged and granted bail, he will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on October 24.

On October 11, a drugs warrant was executed at an address at Saville Court. Cannabis, cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were seized.

A man and woman were arrested and have been interviewed and granted police bail to November 17 to allow time for further investigation and forensic enquiries.

On October 15, a drugs warrant was executed at an address in Dart Walk.

Police said a ‘substantial’ amount of cannabis and amphetamine was recovered.

A 46-year old and 36-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman, were granted police bail following interview. The 36 year old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply amphetamine and cannabis.

He was refused bail and remanded in custody by magistrates.

The case has been sent to Crown Court for trial.
