WINSFORD’S Christian Cooke sailed through training to become a qualified weapons engineer with the Royal Navy.
The 21-year-old graduated from HMS Collingwood in Fareham, Hampshire, after completing his Phase Two training with Victory Squadron.
The Winsfordian joined the Royal Navy in December last year and is looking forward to joining his first ship HMS Northumberland.
Originally from Winsford, where mum, Karen, still lives, Christian said: “I have thoroughly relished the training and the experiences that the Navy has offered me so far.
“I have made concrete friendships whilst on course. I’m proud of my achievements and feel prepared to undertake my new role in the Fleet.”
