PROUD Winsford parents will star on TV tonight, as part an entertaining series exploring the ups and downs of modern pregnancy.

Ray and Leeanne Forsey appear in episode five of Sky Living’s She’s Having a Baby at 8pm.

The couple invited producers to document the arrival of their son, Billy-Ray, who is now a happy, toddling two-year-old.

“It was actually just on a whim that I contacted the show,” explained Leeanne, who works at Guys and Dolls hairdressers in Wharton Road.

“I was 15-weeks pregnant and my six-year-old, Jaimie, was off school because he wasn’t very well.

“I was at home and saw a message on twitter asking for future mothers to get in touch. I replied without really knowing what the show was all about.

“They got back to me so quickly that I said they were going to have to give me five minutes to give my husband the heads up about the whole thing!”

Soon enough, Sky’s crew were part of the couple’s extended family, welcomed into their Wharton home to document Billy’s impending arrival.

Tonight’s programme focuses on Leeanne’s larger-than-life baby shower at the Kinderton Hotel in Middlewich, where a ‘buff waiter’ served drinks between fire breathing demonstrations.

The show caps an eventful nine months for the couple.

Leeanne was due to begin IVF only days before she found out she was pregnant with Billy on Boxing Day 2011.

“It ruined New Year. I was stuck on Lemonade!” joked the 34-year-old, who is now looking forward to her third child and a show the whole family can enjoy.

“Looking back, it was a big decision to have the cameras there during my labour, but we spent so much time together with the crew that we built up a really special relationship,” she added.

“I’m so glad we did it, because the film has turned out really beautifully.

“It’ll be so nice for Billy to look back upon when he’s older and say ‘that’s all about me’.
