Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh is backing this year’s competition
A WINSFORD optician is looking for local entrants to their Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition.
Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh is the face of this year’s contest, which will see £1 of each entry donated to the Kidscape charity.
The winner will scoop £10,000 and a holiday to the Bahamas.
Peter Adshead, store director at Specsavers Winsford said: ‘We know that people in Winsford love their glasses and we want to celebrate it.
“The Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition gives us the opportunity to prove that glasses are fabulous at any age by celebrating the specs wearers right on our doorstep who wear them with pride and plenty of style.”
