THE African Children’s choir will be visiting Middlewich as part of their tour this year.
They will be singing, dancing and playing the drums at St Mary's Church, King Street on Sunday October 6 at 6.30pm.
The children, aged seven to 10, represent children from all over the African continent who have lost their parents through war, disease or famine.
The aim of the concerts is to raise awareness of the plight of children in Africa as well as training and equipping the children to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Last year they sang with Gary Barlow and the Military wives at the Queens Jubilee celebrations. Entrance is free but an offering will be taken to support their work.
