Firefighters extinguish lorry blaze on Winsford Industrial Estate
CREWS mobilised to a fire involving the load of a lorry on Road Three of Winsford Industrial Estate this afternoon.
One fire engine from Winsford and a second from Middlewich attended the blaze at 1.36pm today, July 29.
Crews used one hose reel and one covering jet to extinguish the fire, which involved cardboard and plastic waste that had been tipped out of the lorry onto waste ground.
A mechanical digger was used to turn over the rubbish while crews used a thermal imaging camera to check there were no signs of fire in the vehicle.
