LITTLER Grange Day Nursery invited parents to come and help their children’s artistic endeavours during a sun-soaked arts and crafts day on July 5.
Kids took part in painting, jelly play, junk modelling, foam and water play, printing and drawing, during the outdoor event organised by cover manager Clair Bell.
Nursery manager Rita Lyons said: “There was lots of arty stuff going on and each child took home something they’d made. The rest is going to be displayed in the nursery.
“It was a really warm, sunny day. Because we held it on Friday afternoon, mums and dads were able to get time off work easier and come in with their children.
“It went really well. The children lots of fun and there was great support from the parents.”
