SUPERMARKET Sainsbury's has announced Lego cards and collector's albums will be returning to stores from today, Tuesday.

Last year across the country 100 million packs of Lego cards were collected in six weeks.

It was also named Sainsbury's most popular toy of 2017 as online searches for the product soared by 243%.

This year’s cards will allow children to join their favourite Minifigure characters on a journey throughout history learning about incredible inventions.

For every £10 spent customers will receive a free four-pack of cards.

The collector’s album, available for £2.50, also comes with two free packs.

Packs of four cards will also be on sale for 50p.

To further help enthusiasts collect their cards, Sainsbury’s will host swap shops in its in-store cafes across the country to help fans complete their 140-card collection.

The cards will only be available until October 8.
