THE OPENING night of Northwich festival, maybe a laugh a minute for the Purple Cactus Comedy Club, but dog owners find absolutely nothing amusing about the ban on walking their dogs round the perimeter of Moss Farm.
The original covenant made by ICI for Northwich residents, was for recreation, including dog walking.
Now it is a sports complex and because of some irresponsible, stupid dog walkers, this activity was banned.
Many years have passed and I know dog owners would be grateful if there could be a trial period of lifting the ban.
If the privilege is abused, so be it.
