I HAVE noticed that Cheshire East Council wants to build 1,950 houses on the greenbelt land of west Cheshire.
I trust they will build and equip a hospital, doctors, dentists, schools and a police station for all the people so they will not overload the already swamped services.
This should be at the expense of the builders – it should not be paid for by the ratepayers. If they really want to sort the housing shortage they would build 10 rows of 10 terraced cottages, homes for 100 families. Then prevent them being rented out.
