Where is George Eustace’s withdrawal of his claim in September that the Government’s strategy to control bTB through a badger cull is working that senior vets called for, in an open letter of October 20, 2018, detailing the weakness of his claim?
Democratic credibility, already in short supply, requires a withdrawal or a reply.
Continuing the cull of badgers, against the evidence, is distracting attention from establishing public support for how to deal with bTB.
And, with limited resources, how wild animal populations are to be controlled.
