MAY I remind drivers who use Weaverham village shops that pavement ramps are vital for wheelchair and disability scooter users and are not there to park your cars across.
On Monday morning I had to push my brother’s wheelchair up and down the street outside the shops, to find a ramp that was not blocked, or partially blocked by a car.
There is a car park across the road and one around the back of the shops.
Think before parking – are you blocking the right of way of a wheelchair or disability scooter user and their carer.
