JOHNNY Vegas celebrated Saints' Challenge Cup triumph after travelling with supporters on a coach to Wembley.

The Thatto Heath comedian was on board one of the coach's that left The Gerard pub in Dentons Green on Saturday morning.

Delighted supporters shared selfies with him along the route and on Wembley way.

And, sporting a jersey in support of the Steve Prescott Foundation, he was a jubilant figure in the stands at the national stadium as Saints turned around a 12-6 half time deficit to win 26-12.

Johnny posted pictures of his day.

And there was time for a little humour, as he picked out one supporter who appeared to have dozed off amid all the excitement.

Travelling back to St Helens last night, he wrote on Twitter: "Great day, its been too long. Get in @Saints1890

"It took a while but it'll sit nice back here on the right side of The Pennines. Fair play @CTRLFC

"You gave us a scare & your fans done you proud. Outside of the result, the street on Wembley Way was mint. Safe home all of ya x."
