A POPULAR bowling green in Winsford is now brighter and easier for people to play on.
New floodlights have been installed at Wharton Recreation Bowling Club green.
Winsford Town Council's parks and open spaces committee approved the new equipment and part-matched the funding with bowlers.
Bowlers were delighted that the lights were approved and said they had made a big difference to games.
