WINSFORD United's unbeaten start to the league season is over.
Neighbours Northwich Victoria inflicted a 2-1 defeat upon Lee Duckworth's men at Barton Stadium last night thanks to a late winner from Darrhyl Mason.
The result means Vics have leapt above Blues in the North West Counties League Premier Division table and are the division's new leaders.
Mason's winning goal came just two minutes after Jesse Dowling had equalised for Blues, sweeping the ball high into the net after Rob Hopley had beaten visiting goalkeeper Mike Hale to the ball.
Matty Birchall had given Vics the lead before the break.
Blues will look to bounce back from this setback on Saturday when Avro visit Barton Stadium for a 3pm kick off
