STEVE Price is making wholesale changes to his Warrington Wolves side to face Salford Red Devils in Super League Round 14 tonight at the AJ Bell Stadium, kick-off 5.30pm.

A number of debuts are in store as The Wire protect many of their first-teamers for next Saturday's Challenge Cup semi-final, also against Salford, at St Helens' Totally Wicked Stadium.

Academy products Cole Oakley, Nathan Roebuck and Connor Wrench along with Reserves captain Kyle Shelford, a part-time player who is the son of former New Zealand international Adrian Shelford and gained one Super League appearance with Wigan in 2016, are all set to gain their first top-flight appearances in Wire colours.

There's a sprinkling of current regular first-teamers named, including Matty Ashton, Jason Clark, Matt Davis, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Stef Ratchford and Danny Walker, while the rest of the squad is made up of players who have been waiting in the wings to get their chance.

Dec Patton will captain the team and fellow Warrintonian Danny Walker will be his vice-captain.
