THE quality of the Warrington Wolves squad persuaded Leilani Latu to choose them ahead of several suitors.
Prop Latu’s two-year deal to join The Wire has been confirmed as the 26-year-old becomes the final addition to their 2020 squad.

When it became clear Latu was free to leave NRL side Gold Coast Titans, several Super League clubs made their interest in signing him known.
However, the Tongan international front rower says the chance to join Warrington was too good to turn down.
“I’m looking forward to getting into training with the boys and creating some combinations with them,” he said.
“It’s an exciting brand of footy here and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity.
“I chose Warrington because of the quality of players and I have played with a couple of them back in the NRL too – Ben Murdoch-Masila and Sitaleki Akauola at Penrith and we had some success there.”
