TWO goals from Nathan Cotterell helped Winsford United bounce back to winning ways last night.
Blues won 3-1 on the road at rock-bottom Litherland REMYCA in a game which saw all four goals scored in the first half.
Darcy O'Connor put Lee Duckworth's men in front – the first of three goals they scored in a 10-minute period.
Cotterell doubled the lead and went onto restore their two-goal cushion on the stroke of half-time after Luke Wilson-Jones had briefly reduced the deficit for the hosts.
Litherland ended the game with 10 men after Jake Parker was red-carded in the later stages.
The result lifts Blues up to eighth in the North West Counties League Premier Division table ahead of a home game against another struggling side, Skelmersdale United, on Saturday.
