WINSFORD Cricket Club have been bowled over.
They have received a donation from Taylor Wimpey North West which has already been put to good use.
The club, which are based just a short distance from the housebuilders' Spring Croft development, received funding for a new line machine for the cricket pitch.
Andy Cooper, chairman of Winsford Cricket Club, said: “Hundreds of people use our facilities either as players, members or guests.
"The new machine will help us keep our club looking its best for the whole community.”
Winsford Cricket Club first became established 1888 and has both junior and senior teams.

“We love that the club encourages people to get outside and lead a healthy lifestyle.
"Winsford Cricket Club play an important role in the local community and we are proud to support them.”
Winsford men's team finished second from bottom in the UK Fast Cheshire Cricket League this year.
Anthony Ollier topped this year's bating averages, with 382 runs scored in 42 games including a best of 75.
David Etchells took the most wickets for the team in 2019, 25 in 112.4 overs.
