NORTHWICH Sapphires remain unbeaten in the Cheshire Elite League this season following a thumping victory against Macclesfield in their latest outing on Saturday.
Maddy Dann’s shooting accuracy was impressive during a 95-35 success at Winsford Lifestyle Centre that keeps her side on a course to finish top of the table.
Meanwhile Sapphires’ seconds mounted a comeback on Sunday to register a third win of the campaign in the North West Championship League’s Division Two.
A team featuring four players from the club’s under 16s squad trailed 18-6 at the end of the opening quarter against hosts Trafford.
However they recovered to run out 48-44 victors.
