CHESHIRE Stars T remain on course for a top-half finish in the Everybody Netball League’s Premier Division after recording a victory in their latest outing.

They defended solidly to keep out Ladyhawks A during a 37-30 triumph that leaves them seventh in the table.

Em Coop was chosen afterwards as their best performer on court.

Stars S led until the final quarter of a narrow 34-31 reverse against Falcons in the same section and remain without a victory this season.

Abby Hilldrup was the victors’ star turn, keeping her side third in the table.
