CHESHIRE Stars T recorded another victory in the Everybody League’s top-flight when they beat Sharks.
Annalise Wilce was chosen as player of the match for the Middlewich-basted outfit during a comfortable 53-33 success that leaves them seventh in the standings.
It was a difficult week though for Stars S, who lost 52-17 against Ladyhawks A in a Premier Division fixture.
Stars A’s hopes of being promoted from the Championship Division took a hit when they went down 39-24 against second-placed Sandbach Roses.
They made their opponents work for their win though, prompting captain Catherine Barton to praise her side’s collective effort afterwards – particularly their passing from centre-court to the circle.
Stars R were depleted by absences for a Division One encounter with Witton Albion that went the way of their opponents.
A 41-17 reverse ended with them determined to return to winning ways this week.
Karen Dickson’s display at centre earned for her a nomination as the team’s best performer.
