KEBRIAH Pardoe inspired Cheshire Stars T to another victory in the Everybody Netball League’s top-flight.
The Middlewich-based team’s captain was chosen as their best player following a narrow 29-23 victory against Vipers in a fiercely-contested Premier Division encounter last week.
Stars S, depleted by the absence of regular starters, could not prevent in-form Oaklands from recording a ninth successive win in the same section.
Sharon Kennerley was picked afterwards as her side’s leading performer following a 48-14 reverse.
In the Championship Division, Stars A occupy third position in the table after an emphatic 54-29 success against Bentley.
Their shooters stayed calm when faced by tall defenders, remaining accurate throughout.
Jenny Lea was pivotal to their success with a series of great assists and solid defending without the ball.
Meanwhile Stars R continue to lead the way in Division One, moving clear of Ladyhawks O in the second quarter of their clash.
They went on to win 25-12, an eighth success in nine attempts this season, and Marianne Needham was chosen as player-of-the match.
