Why should I watch..?
To see if Winsford United can continue a recent revival that has seen them collect seven points from five games.
A 1-0 win at home to Whitchurch Alport last weekend moved propelled them out of the North West Counties League Premier Division drop zone.
Blues followed that with a 3-0 reverse at Barton Stadium when Congleton arrived in town 48 hours later for a contest that was closer than the score-line suggests after the Bears scored twice in stoppage time.
West haven’t won any of their past eight league games, losing seven of them, and rescued a point from last weekend’s meeting with Litherland after a moment of individual brilliance from Joe Shaw.
However they shipped five goals during a midweek drubbing at Ashton Athletic.
What they’ve said
“We go to West Didsbury with plenty of positives to take with us from the past couple of weeks.
“It’s a big game, we know that, and we have an opportunity to put distance between ourselves and a side that’s currently below us in the table.
“However I’m sure they’ll be looking at it as a chance to kick-start their own season, particularly after beating us at their place in the past couple of years.”

Matthew Green
Has been in solid form since returning to Barton Stadium at the end of last month and has kept two clean-sheets in his five starts.
A misjudgement for Congleton’s opening goal on Monday night was a rare one and he’ll hope to put it behind him at the first attempt.

Caldon Henson, who returned to the starting line-up on Monday following a two-month injury lay-off, is unavailable.
Meanwhile player-manager Lee Duckworth will be forced to make at least two other chances with Perry Bircumshaw (bruised foot) and Scott Taylor (illness) ruled out.
