Every week, the Northwich & Winsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Vincent Murphy

The 99-year-old died on November 20 at Leighton Hospital.

Vincent, of Hartford, was the much-loved husband of the late Gladys, father of Timothy and grandfather of Alison and Ben.

Funeral service at St Wilfrid's RC Church on Friday, December 15, at 2pm, followed by committal at Vale Royal Crematorium.

Brenda Oakes (née Stretch)

The 95-year-old, of Middlewich and formerly Winsford, died peacefully in Leighton Hospital on November 26.

Brenda was the beloved wife of the late Tom, dearest mum to Judith and son-in-law David, and a devoted grandma to Richard and Christopher.

Funeral to be held at The Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis on Friday, December 15, at 1pm.

Family flowers only, donations if wished to St Luke's Hospice and the Salvation Army.

George Sankey

The 81-year-old, a former ICI employee and dedicated member of St John Ambulance, the Rotary Club and Winsford United, died at home on December 1.

George, of Swanlow Lane, Winsford, was the loving husband of Gill, dad to George and Gillian, and grandad to Emily, Grace and Ruth.

Funeral service to be held at St Chad's Church Over, Wednesday,  December 20, at 1.30pm followed by a private burial.

Vincent Haran

The 63-year-old died peacefully on November 18.

Vincent was the dearly beloved husband of Shirley and son of Cyril and Angela (deceased).

He will be sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service to be held at Christ Church, Port Sunlight, on Thursday, December 14, at noon followed by committal at Landican Crematorium Centre Chapel.

Roy Birkenhead

Died on December 5, 2019. With loving memories of Roy, husband, father, grandad and great grandad.
