WARRINGTON'S Own Buses has been recognised at the 2018 UK Bus Awards – winning a silver award for its new Cheshire Cat and Pops bus routes.
There was a strict judging process which evaluated entries from bus companies across the UK.
Ben Wakerley, managing director said: “Our bus company is locally-owned and contributes significantly to Warrington’s economy, not only from a comprehensive network, connecting people and destinations, but also as one of the biggest employers, buying local goods and services, easing congestion and improving local air quality.
“We continue to make every effort to improve our offer and in the past year, we’ve reduced several fares, increased frequencies and simplified information.
“We work in partnership with design gurus Best Impressions to improve all aspects of our product. This award recognises our efforts and means a great deal to the whole team."
